EMC is a reader of the message headers from IMAP and POP accounts. If the server is not set up these accounts to maintain a copy of the message, after reading the header, will be deleted by the provider and not by EMC. Therefore, set these accounts in their provider, to maintain a copy of the message.
For users of Gmail POP account: change your POP Gmail account to IMAP. It is very simple and much safer. See the recommendation own GMAIL.
