Showing the filters setup
screen
A line of a filter can be activated or not by clicking in " Active
Box ". Case you want that the EmC deletes directly in the server
a message that is in accordance with the established filter is enough
to click in the Box "Delete". CARE! The EmC deletes
in the server all messages that are in accordance with filter when the
box "Delete message... " is enabled. You have no possibility
of recovering this message.
Through the established Filters the EmC can
mark messages to be deleted directly in the provider.
Thus those unsolicited messages are deleted back in the provider. The
trash in the network simply is evaporated without occupying space in your
disk and you do not have to wait the message to be received. The filters
operate in the folowing fields: header, subject, sender, attach and message
body. You can, simply click the button "Get", to catch the new
filters of Virus identification that we keep in our site.
The column in yellow shows box to enable/disable a specific filter. The
column in blue shows box that indicates to EmC which filters will be used
to delete filtered messages. This exclusion is made directly in the server.
To include, to modify or to delete an item of the filters list it is enough
to click with the right button of mouse and choose the option in the menu.
