The Setup Screen of email accounts

When you install   the EmC, it looks in your PC the configuration for all email accounts for NetScape, MS-OutLook Express and Eudora. You only inform the password. It can include new accounts, modify them or still delete information. If you use another email program, diferent from the related ones, you must include the accounts only once, manually. The program allows that you inform the accounts passwords at the moment of reading messages. A system cryptography gives the protection when writing passwords in disk.

Whenever you execute the EmC, it verifies in the Windows register which new accounts were installed through its program of email. By this way, it keeps synchronized the alterations effected in Windows email with the existing ones in the EmC. Thus you will not need to inform alterations effected in your acconts when using your email software. The EmC does not allow alteration of these accounts. All maintenance of the accounts will have to be effected in the software that originated them. Only the accounts included through the EmC could be kept.

Update screen of accounts in the post office

To include, to modify or to delete accounts you only has to click with the right button of mouse on the desired account that a menu of jobs will appear in the screen or you can use the 3 buttons that are above in screen of the accounts (sees figure above).

To enable/disable one or more accounts it is enough to click in the box called " Enable". The EmC only reads messages of activated accounts.

In case your POP account is of a WebMail (Free email ,as Yahoo, Hotmail and etc...) that does not allow the permanence of messages after its reading, indicates to the EmC, clicking in the box " only Read the header ". For these cases the header will only be read. The body of the message will not be read preventing that the provider deletes them.

If you want the reading of these messages leave Box blank. In this case the EmC will save the read message in Text format or HTML in thefolder ATTACHMENTS under the directory where it was installed. The files with messages are recorded according to following specification:

When you load The EmC,it always verifies the existing accounts in Windows register leaving the pattern of the accounts in the EmC identical to the existing accounts in its favourite program of email. Case you do not want this option desable it in the "Setup" screen.
